Verity (A child monitoring software)

Verity

Verity is a child monitoring software that can be installed on the child’s computer and allows the parent to monitor online and PC activity remotely via a password protected browser interface. The software is easy to install, simply run the setup program and you’re done. There are some options that can be configured from the client interface, if needed, but all of the parental control features can be managed from the browser interface. Once installed, Verity runs silently in the background and keeps track of all websites visited and programs used. Parents have the option to restrict access to certain sites and prohibit specific programs from being used. You can also set daily time limits (total allowance, earliest use, latest use) to make sure that your kids don’t spent their nights or early morning on playing games or browsing the web. Other feature include screenshot capture and logging, and option to define special programs or sites that are exclude from restrictions, chat monitoring, daily repost via email (optional), and more. The Verity control interface can be accessed from any computer on you home network without any further configuration. The program also supports remote access via the internet, which requires you to configure your router, but this is only necessary if you want to be able to log into the control panel from outside your home, e.g. from your office.
